We know the candidate experience in the recruiting industry can often be terrible

As candidates ourselves we have experienced the following:

  • Never hearing back from a recruiter (being ghosted)
  • Being contacted for jobs we are under, over, or not at all qualified for
  • Being contacted by multiple recruiters from the same company, for the same job
  • Bait and switch tactics
  • Long periods of time between initial recruiter contact and updates of where things stand
  • Misinformation about the job role, benefits, or team
  • Unclear if the role is truly remote, hybrid, or fully onsite until deeper in the process
  • Travel requirement is not clearly defined, or is disclosed deeper in the process
  • Being asked what our current salary is
  • Having to go through our resume multiple times with recruiters from the same company
  • The recruiter doesn’t know what the culture is like at the company
  • Lack of making a real human connection and interaction
